Our Policies
Appointments
Office visits are to be made by appointment only, as this allows us to spend adequate time with our patients to provide the proper care and counseling. Please let us know if you will be late or cannot keep your appointment.
In the event of a pet emergency, please understand that there may be a delay with our regularly scheduled appointments.
For busy schedules, ask about our “drop-off” option in which your pet can be left at our clinic for the day to be seen between appointments.
For the safety of our patients, our clients, and our staff, all pets must arrive on a leash or in a carrier and be properly controlled at all times.
Vaccinations
All pets must be current on vaccinations when they are admitted for boarding or grooming, including rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. If you would like us to update your pet's vaccinations prior to boarding or grooming, this must be done at least 48 hours prior to their arrival. Failure to show proof of your pet's current vaccinations on the day of arrival may result in a denial of boarding or grooming services.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. If a pet is insured, owners are responsible for payment to Animal Care Centre; contact your pet insurance company for reimbursement procedures.
Discharge
Pets that are hospitalized or boarded may be discharged during office hours only. Please plan accordingly, and be aware that we are closed Sundays and the first Saturday of every month.
